Dr. Woerner is personally available to all Dot's Place members 24/7 via text, email or phone. As a mom, she knows that illnesses, injuries & parental questions come up at all hours of the day & night. Knowing your child's pediatrician is so readily accessible offers families great peace of mind.
Well Child Care Visits
Comprehensive Well Child Care Visits are designed to ensure the optimal physical, mental, social & emotional health of your child.
By establishing a personal relationship with Dr. Woerner, in conjunction with scheduled check ups, she is able to closely track your child's growth, development & overall medical needs.
With our extended patient visit appointment times, Dr. Woerner is able to thoroughly address your concerns or questions in regards to your child's health.
Comprehensive Well Child Care Visits include:

Complete history & physical examination, in accordance with the American Academy of Pediatrics (AAP) guidelines

Developmental screening, assessment & progress tracking

Monitoring growth & nutrition
-
Vaccination in accordance with AAP & CDC guidelines
-
Preventative & anticipatory guidance - including topics such as sleep, nutrition, emotional, and home & environmental safety

Vision & hearing screening
-
Scoliosis screening
-
Laboratory collection, as indicated


Same or Next-Day Sick Visits
As a mom, Dr. Woerner understands that we can never anticipate when our child will become sick. She will work, in collaboration with your family, to schedule Same or Next-Day Sick Visits.
Virtual & In Person Visits are an option, depending on the patient's condition.
Outside of normal business hours, patients may call or text Dr Woerner any day, including holidays & weekends.
Unlimited Sick Visits include:

Comprehensive Evaluation

Rapid Testing ie: Flu, RSV, Strep, COVID as indicated

Urinalysis

Blood Glucose Check

Treatment: Nebulizer Breathing Treatment, certain intramuscular medications, as needed
House Calls
From packing up all the supplies, to the concern for exposure to germs in the world, it can be stressful to leave the house with your child. Within a ten-mile radius, Dr. Woerner can provide well child & sick visits. Two House Calls per year are included with Dot's Place membership.


Chronic Care Visits
Many children are managed for various chronic medical conditions that require thorough, personal & frequent follow up with their pediatrician.

Dot's Place Direct Pediatrics Model allows for both the time, in-office or virtually, & the accessibility to Dr. Woerner to fully manage your child's chronic medical needs.
Close & comprehensive chronic care visits with Dr. Woerner can minimize the need for additional referrals.
Some children will require more extensive management by a specialist. We can help coordinate these referrals, as well as help to execute the specialists' recommendations and plans.

For certain procedures, an Emergency Room or Urgent Care visit may be avoided.

Prenatal or New Patient Consultations
When you are expecting a new baby, we know it is important to find a doctor who is just the right fit for your family. Dr. Woerner loves prenatal & new patient consultations! Appointments are complimentary and consist of a 30-minute visit in the office or virtually.
She can address your questions, as well as further discuss the model of our practice & our evidence-based medical philosophies. This helps to ensure we are the best fit for the complete care of your child & family.
School, Sports, & Camp Physicals
The AAP encourages all children to have an annual sports physical, whether or not one is required for them to participate on a team or extracurricular activity. Usually, these physicals can be coordinated with the child's Well Child Care visit.
